It's time for WWE SummerSlam !

Labeled as WWE's "Biggest Party of the Summer" the premium live event continues to get bigger and bigger every year.

Now in its 37th edition, SummerSlam 2024 on Saturday night should follow suit from Cleveland Browns Stadium.

The SummerSlam card includes seven huge matches, six of which are for championships. And the only match without a title on the line is WWE's storyline of the year between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk. Their feud has become extremely personal ever since CM Punk was injured in the Royal Rumble in January at the hands of McIntyre. Add Seth Rollins, a former champion who has had his issues with both men, as the special guest referee and this is likely the most anticipated match for fans due to its unpredictability and build-up.

Speaking of chaotic, that's exactly what the Undisputed WWE Championship match between champion Cody Rhodes and challenger Solo Sikoa should be when the two go toe-to-toe in a Bloodline Rules match (a stipulation added on Smackdown last night). It was just four months ago at WrestleMania 40 that Rhodes battled a Bloodline member in this type of match. And that match was as wild as they come when Rhodes finally conquered Bloodline Tribal Chief Roman Reigns to win his first WWE championship.

Several superstars joined Triple H to officially kick off SummerSlam weekend on Friday in Cleveland.

How to watch WWE SummerSlam 2024: start time, live stream, matches

This weekend, WWE is throwing its annual “Biggest Party of the Summer” at SummerSlam . First held in 1988, SummerSlam is one of WWE’s five biggest Premium Live Events (PLE), along with Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank , and WrestleMania . This is the first SummerSlam under the TKO banner, with Triple H fully in charge of creative.

After pinning Cody Rhodes and Money in the Bank , Solo Sikoa gets his shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship. As the new leader of the Bloodline, Sikoa can firmly establish himself as the “Tribal Chief” with a win against Rhodes on Saturday night. If he loses, there will be repercussions for the Bloodline. Would a Sikoa loss bring Roman Reigns back from his hiatus to straighten out his family?

When and where is WWE Money in the Bank 2024?

SummerSlam begins at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Saturday, August 3. Because of the event’s severity, a special three-hour pre-show will begin at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT. SummerSlam takes place at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

WWE Money in the Bank 2024 matches

There will be six titles on the line at SummerSlam : the Undisputed WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, Women’s World Championship, WWE Women’s Championship, WWE United States Championship, and the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

The lone non-title match is arguably the most anticipated match of the night. The match features CM Punk against Drew McIntyre with Seth “Freakin” Rollins as the special guest referee. Punk and McIntyre legitimately hate each other. These two have been making each other’s lives miserable for the last eight months. Now, they finally square off inside the ring in what should be the first of multiple matches.

This weekend marks a first for the WWE. Clash at the Castle 2024 is the first Premium Live Event (PLE) to run in Scotland. The trip to Scotland is part of WWE's continued effort to host events in international territories. The last two PLEs were in Saudi Arabia and France, and the next PLE will take place in Canada.

Drew McIntyre, a Scottish native, headlines this monumental card. McIntyre won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, but the title reign only lasted a few minutes. CM Punk distracted McIntyre long enough for Damia Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and win the title. Now, McIntyre gets his rematch with Priest in front of his home crowd. Will it be a storybook ending for McIntyre?

The final leg of the Triple Crown will take place Saturday at the 2024 Belmont Stakes. Known as "The Test of the Champion," the Belmont Stakes is typically held at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. Due to construction at Belmont, the 156th running of the Belmont Stakes will be in upstate New York at Saratoga Race Course.

Ten horses are running in the Belmont Stakes, including 2024 Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan and 2024 Preakness Stakes winner Seize the Grey. With Seize the Grey's win over Mystik Dan at the Preakness, there will be no Triple Crown winner in 2024. Seize the Grey, Mystik Dan, Sierra Leone, and Mindframe should be in contention to win the Belmont. In tonight’s episode , The Original Tribal Chief speaks after his highly anticipated return cost Solo Sikoa his chance at the WWE Undisputed Championship at SummerSlam. LA Knight begins his new era as United States Champion after defeating Logan Paul.

The WWE Universe will be talking about the return of Reigns for years to come. From the second the music began, followed by a methodical walk to the ring, a deafening “OHHH-AHHH,” and his superman punch-spear combination on the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief. Reigns then stared down Cody Rhodes and exited the ring to sea of disbelief, allowing the champion to finish off Sikoa with the Cross Rhodes.

What will Reigns have to say in his first appearance on Smackdown since before WrestleMania 40? Is the new Bloodline in his sights, or will the Head of the Table revert back to old wounds against Rhodes? The landscape of WWE has completely shifted since we last saw him speak.

What’s next for Rhodes after his latest title defense? It’s hard to imagine his rivalry with the Bloodline has reached its conclusion. He’ll also make an appearance on the jam-packed episode.

The Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu also suffered a leg injury after interfering in the Sikoa-Rhodes match. He was spotted in a walking boot after SummerSlam. A wounded Fatu spells trouble for the Bloodline, who have conjured up multiple enemies in the path of destruction and gained the ultimate adversary last weekend.

Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis may also force Fatu and Tama Tonga to relinquish the Tag Team championship belts due to injury, as others have in similar circumstances.

Prior to defeating him at SummerSlam, Knight damaged Paul’s PRIME-branded truck. The social media phenom has threatened legal action against the Mega Star with an appearance in court. Could their rivalry be in for another chapter?

Nia Jax defeated Bayley at SummerSlam to become the WWE Women’s Champion. Is their beef over, or will Bayley come looking for a rematch? How will Tiffany Stratton approach her Money in the Bank strategy after her best friend is now the champion? Jax will take to the ring to celebrate her crowning achievement.

Blair Davenport ruined any chance of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill reclaiming their titles with some blindsided interference last Friday night. Payback is likely in order for the young Smackdown competitor.

Carmello Hayes suffered a loss to Andrade, continuing his slump. HIM is in trouble on the main roster. Is it time for a statement?

AJ Styles is also set to appear.

It’s almost time for WWE NXT !

WWE will present another action-packed episode of NXT on August 13. The show will feature multiple title matches.

Here’s what’s on tap for the August 13 episode of NXT.

Lexis King vs. Eddy Thorpe

King and Thorpe have been feuding for the past several weeks. Thorpe beat King on the July 23 episode of WWE NXT. Both men would confront each other the following week. Now, they will aim to settle the score in a singles match on Tuesday.

Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Charlie Dempsey – WWE NXT Heritage Cup

Charlie Dempsey and Tony D’Angelo will run it back tonight.

D’Angelo continues to have a successful run with the title. The Don of NXT previously successfully defended the Heritage Cup against NQCC’s Tavion Heights.

Both men haven’t seen eye to eye on the issue of Damon Kemp. Tonight, they collide once again with the Heritage Cup on the line.

NXT North American Champion Oba Femi Holds Open Challenge

Oba Femi will be in action this week on WWE NXT.

The North American Champion has proven time and again why he’s arguably the most dominant force in all of NXT.

Femi has beaten the likes of Dijak, Josh Briggs, Ivar, and Wes Lee for his title. He had a staring contest with Otis last night on RAW, and Otis seemingly accepted the challenge. However, he has not been confirmed as Femi’s opponent.

It remains to be seen who will step up next to The Ruler of NXT.

Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) vs. Chase U (Andre Chase & Ridge Holland) – NXT Tag Team Championship

Ridge Holland previously told Andre Chase he got them a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship. However, Holland’s quest for gold didn’t include Duke Hudson, a former co-holder of the tag team titles alongside Andre Chase.

Instead, Holland will team up with Mr. Chase to take on the Supersonic Duo for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Axiom and Frazer had a remarkable title defense against MSK at The Great American Bash Week Two last Tuesday.
