Custom presentation folders are available in what cover stocks and weights ?

Our branded folders are available in coated paper stocks, as well as a range of textured stocks in point weights (the larger the number, the thicker the paper). Note: we only construct our presentation folders from quality cover stocks.

Do my printed folders come with a coating ?

YES. As a premium printer of custom folders and personalized file folders, you can choose either a FREE gloss and matte UV coating, or choose to laminated your custom folders in a high-gloss or Soft-Touch for an added charge.

Do custom pocket folders come with business card slits ?

YES. Our custom folders automatically come with card slits for horizontal business cards by default on the right side pocket. You can choose a different business card options (vertical, combo horizontal and vertical, or no business card slits) in dropdown on the product page.

What is the minimum quantity I can order?

There is a 50 quantity minimum order for MOST custom presentation folders and report covers. Legal folders and embossed folders are set to 100 quantity minimums. However, gives us a call, we may be able to work something out.

12pt C2s - 12pt refers to the stock's thickness and is the industry standard for presentation folders. We only offer C2s! C2s indicates that it is coated 2 sides (We do not offer C1s as it a step down in density and durability). Our 12pt C2s is a premium stock and is a great choice for presentation folders!

14pt C2s - When you need a thicker option with even more durability, then 14pt C2s is the perfect choice. It has the same premium properties as our 12pt but it's even thicker.

COATING OPTION GLOSS VS MATTE :

Muscovites’ tax rubles at work.

Although I had never noticed it, the Moscow Metro logo apparently wasn’t trendy enough. Fortunately for me and the approximately 8 million other Moscow residents who ride the metro every day, some keen-eyed, enterprising artiste did.

Yesterday, the Art Lebedev design studio unveiled what it says is the new official logo of the Moscow metro system. “There is a need to generate awareness of a unified system of public transport and make it more attractive,” the studio announced. It called the new design “expressive, modern and universal.”

Hey! Sounds great! So, let’s see it.

There are times when I have to actually smack myself in the head for not being the sharpest observer, but I can’t help but notice that the “new” logo bears a remarkable resemblance to the “old” logo. In fact, looking back through decades of Moscow Metro photos, it has never changed much. It has always been the letter “M.” And, according to Moscow Times, “(i)n the studio’s own words, the result of that research has led to a new logo that ‘looks as if it never changed.’”

Now that would be hard to argue with.

Art Lebedev had been contracted to design a new metro map of the always changing system, and supposedly “was not asked to produce the logo but came up with the idea on its own initiative.”

This kicks off what the city transportion department calls “a five-year rebranding of the city’s transport system in collaboration with advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi.”

So you would think that, since Art Lebedev had virtually created this “new” logo out of the goodness of their hearts, it wouldn’t be bearing any cost to city taxpayers, right?

Wrong. $ 6.3 million!

I’m pretty sure that, even with my limited Photoshop experience, I could have erased the light blue, tunnel shaped line and pumped up the letter “M,” probably in less than 15 minutes. And, I would have done it for half as much!

This has greatly renewed my interest in becoming a graphic designer. Preferably one with an inside connection to city administration.
